Frequently Asked Questions

Do your candles have a scent?

Our beeswax candles have a naturally subtle honey scent from the wax itself. No additional fragrances are added.

How long do beeswax candles burn?

Beeswax candles burn slowly due to their high melting point. Burn time will vary depending on the size of the candle and how it is used.

What makes beeswax candles different?

Beeswax is a natural material that creates clean burning candles without the synthetic additives found in many conventional options.

How should I care for my candle?

Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch before each burn. Allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface to help prevent tunneling.

Are your candles safe for pets?

Our handmade candles are made with simple, natural materials. As with any candle, burn in a well-ventilated space and never leave unattended.

Why is my candle tunneling?

If a beeswax candle is not allowed to fully melt across the surface during the first burn, it can create a tunnel. Let the wax pool reach the edges each time for best results.

Do your candles drip?

Clean burning beeswax candles are naturally low-drip when kept away from drafts and burned properly.

Why is there a white film on my candle?

This is called bloom and is a natural characteristic of pure beeswax candles. It does not affect performance.

How should I store my candles?

Store your handmade candles in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to preserve color and shape.
